I was so excited that it was actually running that I hadn't noticed it was only running on ONE cylinder! New spark plugs fixed that problem (one bad plug) and the result sounds MUCH better.

A lot has happened since the last entry. The carb has been re-jetted and re-installed, and the front brake master cylinder has been rebuilt. The new tank, air cleaner and adjacent frame parts have been painted. The newly-black drag bars have been installed, resulting in a need for shorter brake line and clutch and accelerator cables. I really like the look, though, and it seems pretty comfortable, so it's worth it. Photos to come after everything is installed.

I'm considering options for the rear fender/suspension right now. I'm going to leave it alone for the time being, but soon . . .

I still need to check for oil pressure, set the timing and adjust the carb. Once the weather warms up again, I'll get going on it.

Oh, and about the link below . . I love Ratbikes so I added their link a few weeks ago. Well, they liked my page here and the hits generated from this link were enough for them to award me a special prize! A new Ratbike.org hat! VERY COOL! Thanks mates!

Give them a visit, and get a preview of the direction I'm heading with this bike. It's gonna be FUN!
